This was my VERY FIRST WAXING EVER!!! And I know for fact I’m going back to this specific spot! The Owner was so sweet, fast, patient, easy etc. with me the pain factor 0 being nothing 10 being the worst I’ll give it a 2 again this my FIRST TIME! Also got the areas most dudes will be scared to get done. So this lady HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
I had an appointment 6 days ago for a full bikini wax. The studio was very nice but the waxer did not introduce herself to me and I told her I was there early, so I wasn’t the appointment she may have thought I was. Since her other client was running late and the waxes only take 10 minutes, she decided to fit me in before my scheduled time. She did not instruct what she was going to do, and from the website, I thought I had the option to keep some hair on the front, but she went in for the wax without asking me any questions. To be honest, it was the most painful wax I’ve experienced - and I’ve waxed my bikini area myself with sugar that wasn’t the right consistency - which can hurt. She did not pull the skin taut and so my skin was pulling with my hair. I also have a skin tag on the crease of my bikini line that was torn afterwards. It bled for 3-4 days. My bikini area was red and I developed lots of little pustules. I reached out to her through her website to ask for advice on how to handle the irritated area, but I haven’t heard a thing. I understand accidents happen and that peoples techniques may not be what you favor, but it’s not good etiquette to ignore someone asking for help after your services. I don’t even know if she knew who I was since we barely talked.
I’ve been coming to Tirzah for Brazilian wax for 3 months now so I figured it was time for a review! What I appreciate the most is that she is always on time and wax is always flawless! Thanks Tirzah for being a gem in mainline.
Wonderful! I came here today for my first full Brazilian wax, and had a wonderful experience. She explained the entire process to me and explain how to care for my skin after my wax. I was able to buy an exfoliate from her right in her shop. If you want to get waxed from someone with a great personality and who is 100% professional, I would come to this business.
I booked two appointments for my mom and I for yesterday. One was for 11:50 and the other was for 12:10. However, an hour before the first appointment ( I was en route by the way), I received a text from the owner stating that she would be closing due to the inclement weather. She did let me know that she would have availability later yesterday evening or today. I understood and was still interested so I replied promptly, asking what availability she had for today. As of today, at 2:30 in the afternoon, I have not received a reply of any sort. If text communication is not preferred that should have been made known and I would have called. This was my first time booking so I had no clue of proper procedures if she cancels or is closing early. Yet, nothing has been said and no further instructions have been provided. Instead, I am left feeling robbed of my money, ignored, and thinking “is this why she makes people pay upfront?” Which are feelings and thoughts that no one wants to have. I could have said something else or forced communication but, I believe that the consumer should not have to track someone down for services that they know were paid in full. In short, I was hoping that the waxing results were going to be as good as the reviews claim. Unfortunately, that was not the case and we were not able to find a new waxing place nearby. Word of advice, simple communication is the ultimate key. First impressions are always lasting impressions.
